Owning a Corvette

Owning a Corvette is a lifetime endeavor

From the unmistakable engine sound to the iconic crossed flag badges, it’s more than just a car. It’s a symbol of the American spirit. It reminds us that anything is possible.

Now picture this, you’re driving down your favorite highway in your brand new C8, you hit the gas, and you hear a little knock. A rock chip hits the side of your dream car.

As you keep driving and your motor roars, you still can’t drown out the sound of every other piece of debris slowly eating at your car’s paint.

Around the 10th or 15th rock, it hits you: I really should’ve protected the ‘Vette.

The pre-delivery system

From the factory floor to your garage door

Your car comes to us between the plant and the delivery floor. You stay home, we keep you posted, and the museum hands you the keys to a Corvette that is already protected.

  1. Once you select Museum Delivery, you hear from us. Makaylee, our Corvette Coordinator, walks you through the options and sends a private menu for your model. Most clients are on our schedule about six months before delivery.

  2. Your car leaves the plant, arrives at the museum and comes to us ahead of your date, with time set aside for the work. We coordinate every handoff with the museum directly.

  3. The day your Corvette arrives, we send a video walkaround of the outside and the inside. For most owners it is the first real look at the car they ordered.

  4. Photos, time-lapse videos and texts as the protection goes on. You know who is working on your car and what they are doing to it.

  5. Your finished car returns to the National Corvette Museum for its final inspection and waits for you on the delivery floor.

The drive home

70+70=140

“You’re going 70, the rock’s coming at 70. You have a 140 mile per hour impact.”

Rudy Duarte, owner

Most of our clients drive their new Corvette home from the museum, some of them across the country. The windshield and the front end take the first hit, so we protect both before that first highway mile.

Reviews

“Auto Armor is the REAL DEAL. Immaculate, professional work. Makaylee and Rudy communicated heavily throughout the process with pictures and videos, helping with my anticipation for my new Corvette. Arriving at the museum for delivery, I was amazed at what a beautiful job they did on my Z06. I opted for PPF, ceramic coating, windshield protection, and window tinting. Every dollar was WELL SPENT with Auto Armor. You guys have a customer for life with me. Thank you!”

Questions owners ask

Anything else, Makaylee will answer it on the phone.

How far ahead should I reserve?

As soon as you choose Museum Delivery. We schedule clients about six months ahead, and install slots fill months in advance.

Do I need to come to Bowling Green early?

No. The museum releases your car to us before your delivery date, and we return it the day before so it is waiting for you when you arrive.

Will I see my car before delivery day?

Yes. You get a Proof of Life video the day it arrives, then photos and time-lapse videos while we work.

What do I need to bring on delivery day?

The museum asks for your bill of sale, tags and insurance before the car can leave. Everything on our side is finished the day before.

How is my package priced?

Privately, for your model and the coverage you choose. Makaylee sends your options after a short call.

Do you work on Corvettes that are not museum deliveries?

Yes. Owners who live nearby and drivers bringing a car in from out of town are welcome. Call Makaylee to set a date.
